Prayers and Offices of Devotion for Families and for Particular Persons Upon Most Occasions, by Benjamin Jenks.
Published 1801, Albany, NY by Charles and George Webster. Twenty-fifth edition.
372 pages. Text in English.

Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt title lettering on contrasting black leather label.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn with scratches, leather rubbed but still supple, joints scuffed, remains overall attractive as an object.

Text block paper is well toned, several early pages loosened from gathering, moderate to heavy old staining and scattered age spotting, old damp staining, internally still tight, sound. Clearly a book which has seen much browsing and reading.

Scarce book in any condition.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.

Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this scarce early 19th century American imprint survives.

Book Measures c. 6 3/4" H x 4 1/4" W.
