Beautiful period European full leather binding. Smooth spine ornately gilt stamped into compartments with floral devices and contrasting title label. Mottled acid-etched calf boards, marbled end papers.
Leather remains supple, binding firm, gilt bright, sound, tight. Beautiful age patina, a lovely looking antiquarian book. Contents clean and tight, some scattered spotting, couple pages age browned.
Scarce and important mid-18th century book, issued very close to the first edition of 1767.
Book measures: 6 3/4" H X 4 1/4" W.
