Period 1/2 leather binding, smooth spine gilt ruled into compartments with gilt lettering, marbled paper covered boards. Light rubbing, scuffing and wear to binding, but it remains sound, tight, mostly clean and well preserved with nice age patina.
Profusion of small wood-cuts throughout- many for advertising. Endless articles about all manner of country life, including apiary (bee keeping), horticulture, architecture, seasons, states, weather, crop & market reports, soap making, recipes, fences, etc.
