Photos show the index at rear and a sampling of how vast the range of subjects is. Hundreds of hours of browsing fun, a fascinating snapshot into how these topics were conceived of and explained at this date in America.

Period 1/2 leather binding, slightly raised bands, gilt compartment decorations, gilt title lettering, marbled covers, edges, and end papers. Joints cracked, covers held by binding cords, but binding still remains clean, tight, and sound, textblock clean, fresh and square.
