Publisher's cloth binding, gilt spine lettering, embossed cover decorations, front cover detached along with first several pages, rear cover held only by binding cords. Text block remains clean, tight, and sound.
Documents early lineage of settlers of Watertown, with illustrations and portraits. Watertown is one of the first Massachusetts Bay Colonies settled by English Puritans in 1630.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
