Period (likely pre-1950) 3/4 grained morocco leather binding. Raised bands, gilt rules & title, beautiful marble paper covered boards and end papers.
Heavily illustrated scholarly journal issued quarterly. Each issue contains numerous b&w photographs, diagrams, maps, views, plans; plus two large folding lithographed maps printed on bond paper, all as issued.
Lovely example, minor age scuffing or small flaws, overall clean, lovely book. Possibly a unique binding, as likely few annual years were ever bound up like this in such handsome, almost deluxe leather bindings.
Contents fresh, tight and sound, complete and beautiful antiquarian book.
