The book is an account of the travels of Arthur Stanley, a Victorian theologian, through Egypt and the Holy Land. Contains numerous illustrated maps with original color, along with detailed accounts of the geography of the region in connection with Biblical scripture.
Joints scuffed and slightly flaking, book remains sound, tight, clean and overall well preserved with pleasing shelf appearance. A book more frequently encountered with various condition issues, this being a lovely example.
