Endless assortment of images depicting all aspects of the war, including all nations, nationalities, soldiers, weapons, leaders, world figures, cities, images of the front, aviation, naval, submarines, on and on.
Overall well preserved, most issues and pages clean as issued. Any age flaws minor and easy to overlook or forgive.
Well printed, using a variety of different presses and inks, much rotogravure, early b&w offset photography, photo-montage, early photo-journalism, etc.
In old plain green cloth, spine with simple gilt title and date. Oblong format, thick heavy volumes printed on coated magazine paper stock, virtually every page with an illustration.
Book measures: 8 1/4" H X 11 3/4" W.
