Period 1/2 leather binding, raised bands, gilt compartment decorations, gilt title lettering, marbled covers and end papers, deckled edges.
Both joints cracked along bottom half, but covers still well attached, binding sound. Rear joint scuffed, small chipping at spine head. Interior clean and tight, contents display pleasing age patina. Overall nice looking book with some small age flaws as seen and described.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
