6 volumes, each c. 500 pages. Portrait frontis with original tissue guard to volumes.

Set contains the following titles:
Hours in the Alps.
Forms of Water.
Period 1/2 leather bindings, raised bands, gilt decorated compartments, gilt title, marbled covers and end papers, top edge gilt, deckled edges. Frontis plates and various assorted illustrations in the text throughout.
Bindings remain clean, tight, and sound. Leather with a touch of minor old surface scuffing or rubbing in spots, never offensive or heavy. Interior contents clean, square, tight and sound.
Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive. Lovely antiquarian survival that retains a beautiful shelf appearance.
