Appears to be a very scarce book.
Period mottled calf binding, raised bands, lovely gilt floral compartment decorations, gilt title lettering, marbled end papers. Front joint cracked and split, but covers still strongly and firmly attached, binding remains clean, tight, and sound.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
