83 Quarto Map sheets containing 140 maps and plans in total.
Period 1/4 leather binding, gilt bands, cover ornately gilt and blind stamp decorated.
Binding remains tight and sound. Interior clean and largely free of spotting or foxing. A few maps with short edge tears, couple maps with old crease near centerfold.
Much nicer than typical atlas of this era, any age flaws being easy to overlook or forgive.
Book measures: 15 3/4" H X 13" W.
