Wonderful period full leather binding, raised bands and gilt lettering on spine. Stamped ornamental cover decorations imitating early medieval style binding, beautiful marbled end papers, inlaid leather covers to pastedowns. All edges gilt.
Small scuff spots along joints, minor small staining, overall sound, tight, clean and well preserved book with pleasing appearance and age patina.
The novella is a meditation on the pathway to heaven, and was a popular religious work of the early 20th century.
