Late 19th century scrapbook album, filled with trade cards and a range of nice color lithographic printing of this era.
Period embossed and gilt decorated covers, typical of scrapbooks of the era.
Contains c.250 chromolithographed or color printed trade cards, mementos, greeting cards and die-cut scraps of assorted types.
Short video shows every page and image.
Scrapbook rubbed but still sound and attractive in appearance. Paper for album was wood pulp and thus is quite brittle today- edges chip easily, short tears to many pages throughout. Cards and items would almost certainly readily easily soak free of the pages if so desired.
Short video captures condition much better than words. Please watch prior to purchase to ensure a clear understanding of the contents.
Book measures: 12" H X 9 7/8" W.
