8 volumes, each c. 400 pages, each with stipple engraved portrait frontis.
Period leather bindings, spines nicely gilt lettered & decorated. Bindings all remains tight and sound, front cover of Volume 1 is detached. Some joints cracked but most covers still firmly and well attached.
Complete eight (8) volume set, with frontis portraits. Although the original paper only ran for two years (1711-1712), they were highly influential and well regarded and reprinted throughout the years..
