Period mottled full calf binding, smooth spine, gilt bands and compartment urn decorations, gilt title lettering on contrasting black leather label, gilt ruled covers, marbled edges and end papers. Front joint ever so slightly cracked, but covers remain strongly attached, text block remains clean, tight, and sound. Interior contents clean and largely free of any age spotting.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
