Short video captures condition much better than words. Please watch prior to purchase to ensure a clear understanding of the lot.
Many of the covers in this lot are fantasy scenes.
World War II era (a few earlier) magazines (Mechanix Illustrated, Popular Mechanics, Astounding Stories) ranging from May 1925 to February 1946.
Profusion of b&w photos, drawings and illustrations, articles about an endless range of interesting topics, countless hundreds (thousands?) of ads (many illustrated). Hours and hours of fun reading that is like a time capsule into another era.
Nice assorted lot of 15 issues, all with both covers and apparently complete. Overall clean, tight, pleasing lot. Typical dustiness, some frayed spine paper, couple covers detached or loose, scattered bent corners, etc., but overall 98-99% well preserved.
Books measure: 9 1/2" H X 6 5/8" W.
lot stack measures: 5 1/4" high.
