Uncommon, well detailed and interesting 19th century antique color lithographed map. A unique depiction for the era.
The assortment of interior details is very transitory and shows the last vestigages of the Nile source being a Mountain range almost certainly still Mts. of the Moon. Indeed, the place name "Mondi" is seen beside a mountain. The place name Niam-Niam is shown, a land of mythical cannibals.
Sheet remains clean, fresh and well preserved. Fine patina and visual appeal.
