Charming little early 17th century antique copper engraved map.
Map remains clean and well preserved with a fine patina and visual appeal. Nice impression, the zig-zag oceans and strapwork title cartouche impart a pleasing aesthetic. Longitude and latitude graduations surround the map.
Original fold line, issued for a miniature pocket atlas.
Sheet measures c. 5 1/4"H x 5 3/4"W.
Printed area measures c. 3 3/4"H x 5 1/4"W.
