Decorative early 18th century copper engraved map. Large pictorial vignette cartouche at top left with cherubs and historical allegorical figures. Shore line runs from Sidon down to the Egyptian Nile Delta and includes Palestine on both sides of the Jordan.
Moderate uniform paper age toning, scattered light spotting, weak impression from the plate at lower right corner within distance graticules, original fold lines. Top fold line backed with matching paper on reverse to reinforce and fill small chip at left blank margin. Condition well explored in the video.
Sheet measures c. 11 3/4" x 8 5/8".
Printed area measures c. 10 1/8" x 8".
