Attractive early 20th century 1/2 leather bindings.
Polished green leather, raised bands, gilt spine lettering and devices in compartments. Marbled end papers, top edges gilt. Text blocks largely unopened as issued.
Overall clean, tight, sound set. Leather remains supple, hinges and joints all firm.
Small minor light staining to spines or cloth covers, never offensive visually nor severe. Set displays unique and handsome age patina, will look great on any library shelf or collection.
Uncommon/ scarce set, especially bound thus.
