Issued c.1913, Chicago by Rand McNally for their monumental Commercial Atlas. Captures transitional colonial possessions and names as they existed at this rapidly transitional historical moment.
Excellent oversized early 20th century color printed mapof the continent. Not to be confused with their much more common small quarto size maps of this era. Excellent level of detail not possible on smaller maps. Includes inset map of the Canal of Suez.
Paper and image remains clean and well preserved with a fine patina and visual appeal.
