Splendid mid-18th century likely French binding. Raised bands gilt, richly stamped floral compartments, contrasting title label, mottled calf done in unique pattern, board edges gilt ruled, marbled end papers. With two early owners bookplates affixed atop each other on front paste down.
Book is methodically, meticulously and finely hand written, a monumental project of skill and patience..
