New Holland (Australia) is lacking any interior detail at all, New /south Wales occupying the entire eastern shoreline. Africa has fictitious features including rivers across the interior desert region and the mythical Nile source Mountains of the Moon (which here are actually described as being the "two sources" (of the Nile).
Shows the detailed tracks of Captain Cook's ships for his three voyages as well as the tracks of explorers such as la Perouse, Vancouver and Clarke.
In near VG condition, light minor age wear, minor age spotting, minor light browning across centerfold, light offsetting below the bottom engraved neatline, overall remaining clean and attractive.
Visually pleasing example with nice age patina.
