Period full leather binding, smooth spine gilt ruled and stamped with devices in compartments, red morocco title label, mottled calf. Complete with "eleven" engraved folding maps (three are counted as "two" maps on single sheet and one an armillary sphere plate, so seven total maps and one plate).
Includes scarce maps of the African continent, Asia, the world in double hemispheres and North America.
Leather remains supple, bindings displays a couple small age flaws mentioned in video, however still sound and tight. Nice age patina.
