Period 1/2 leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting leather labels, marbled covers. Front and rear joints cracked, covers held only by binding cords. Spine leather well dried and heavily chipped.
Text block remains clean, tight, and sound. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, with light scattered spotting and toning throughout.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
