Issued 1908, Chicago by Rand McNally for their monumental Business Atlas. Excellent over-sized early 20th century color printed map, sheet is over 2 feet wide.
Not to be confused with their much more common small quarto size maps of this era. Overprinted in red to show the four railroad lines then active across the state.
Excellent level of detail not possible on smaller maps. Includes inset maps of Seward Peninsula Mining District, Mt. McKinley District, and the Aleutian Islands.
Paper and image remains clean and well preserved with a fine patina and visual appeal.
