Publishers period gift full red morocco leather bindings, smooth spines intricately and elaborate gilt spine decorations, embossed cover designs with gilt title lettering. Marbled edges.
Front joints surface cracked and slightly weakened, some surface flaking of leather along joints, small scuff spots, but boards still well and firmly attached, bindings otherwise remain clean, tight, and sound.
Interior contents mostly clean with minor scattered age spotting. Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive.
Wonderful looking set.
