Art Nouveau Grenander Berlin Posen 1907 lovely rare Architecture color printBrian DiMambro- Antique & Vintage Maps, Prints, Books & Gold Coins
Prof. Alfred Grenander- Berlin- Cabinet du Directeur au musee de Posen
(early 20th Century Art Nouveau architectural printed image)
Issued c.1907, Paris by H. Laurens (Beauclair & Gradl-4e annee)
Lovely and very scarce original vintage At Nouveau/ Jugendstil tinted offset color lithographed print. Wide margins all around, the specific location shown being identified below.
Splendid visual appeal, the fluid linear Jugendstil aesthetic is unmistakable and worthy of display.
In Good+ to near VG [or better] condition: Paper uniformly gently age toned, light signs of age spotting and light surface soiling (mostly in blank margins), edges a bit age worn with minor insignificant nicks or browning etc., overall the image remains clean and very attractive. Any minor age flaws or defects may hopefully be clearly seen in the images.
Please examine the scan closely as it forms the central part of the description. There is a zoom feature so you can see close up. [note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws ].
The printed area remains visually pleasing, a nice impression of an interesting and very scarce Jugendstil European architecture image.
An image any collector, dealer, or institution would be happy to possess. Perfect for display purposes.
Sheet measures c. 14 1/4" x 11 3/8 " (inches)
