Bondzwervend Arabier of Beduin
(Roving Bedouin Arab, Armed with Sword & Rifle, Loose Robes Protecting Skin from the Blistering Sun)
Issued c.1852-4, Holland
Lovely and quite uncommon old vintage antique print with original hand color.
Printed in the mid-19th century on paper which is gently age toned and shows light signs of age but which remains sound, clean & well preserved.
A beautiful costume image which is not often seen, and is worthy of display.
In Good+ to near VG or better condition; normal uniform minor age toning to sheet as typical, and small minor age spotting, small pencil marks in the blank margin, the surface of the sheet should be clearly visible in the scan. Overall the printed image is clean, well preserved and very attractive.
A picture is worth a thousand words. The zoomable image is a major part of the item description. Please examine closely, as what you see is what we will send you. [note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws ].
A relatively little-known and fascinating old/ vintage/ antique printed image which any collector, dealer, institution or person of artistic taste would be happy to own and display.
Sheet measures c. 10" H x 6 1/4" W.
Printed area measures c. 6 1/4" H x 3" W
