Fine and scarce original antique European engraved print, with original hand color heightened in gum arabic.
An uncommon and beautiful old ethnic print of this now long gone world inhabitant.
This particular type of highly skilled laborious hand engraving upon wood process is now essentially extinct as method of printing popular images, rendering this printed leaf a fascinating and quite pleasing original artifact from a past era.
Printed as issued on quality stock paper which may show typical gentle signs of age, toned edges, uniform gentle age toning to sheet as often seen, but retains its inherent structural flexibility and soundness.
