Map Exhibiting the Navigable Rivers. The Completed & Proposed Canals & Rail-Roads Great Britain & Ireland with Coal Fields, Light Houses & c.

(Europe, Great Britain, United Kingdom, Ireland, River Thames, Isle of Man, The Wash, Great Western Railroad, Cardigan Bay, Caledonian Canal).

Insets top right of Dublin Bay and Caledonian Canal, lower left of River Thames from London to the Goodwin Sands with part of Kent, Ramsgate Harbor other inset.

Fine folio sheet engraved map with attractive artistic hand color. Printed on bond paper.

A very uncommon/ scarce large old map by this engraver and publisher from Brooklyn, NY.

Printed on a thin bond paper which is similar to the paper used on many folding pocket maps of this 19th century era. Seems highly possible the map was also issued in a pocket map format inside of cloth or paper covers.

Clean, fine example. Lower right blank margin trimmed close as issued.

Sheet measures c. 21 5/8" H x 25 1/4" W.

Printed area measures c. 20" H x 24 3/8" W.
