Period decorative red leather binding. Front cover with large ornate central gilt titling, covers ornately embossed with repeated intricate patterning in the corners set within ruled boxes. All edges gilt.
Binding is worn and scuffed at corners, spine ends, edges & along joints, leather age dried and darkened in places. Rear cover close to detached, held by a couple binding cords.
Despite the binding condition, book retains a noble if not handsome appearance, gilt is bright, a pleasure to inspect. Nice book displaying signs of age and handling but yet still appealing.
Book measures: 10 1/4" H X 8" W.
