Three volume set, complete unto itself. A supplemental work to the famous History of England set. This small pocket-sized set as issued as part of a larger set, hence the spine numbers. This work stands alone and complete unto itself, very scarce.
Period full tree calf leather bindings. Smooth spins gilt ruled with ornamented compartments, contrasting title labels, cover edges gilt ruled. Six miniature stipple engraved portraits throughout.
Fine shelf appeal and age patina. Small chipping to spine heads, tiny scuffing along joints, overall sound, tight, clean internally, well preserved 18th century set.
Books measure: 5 3/4" H X 3 7/8" W.
