Pictorial green cloth, embossed in outline form of the continent with gilt lettering to covers and spines. Map pockets at rear contain 3 folding color lithographed maps.
Pleasing set, cloth lightly age rubbed, overall clean, tight, sound and attractive. Front joint first vol. cracked but still strong. Light minor age foxing to engraved plates, maps with some short splits to some fold-lines.
A classic work.
