Indiana Indianapolis Marion County Lake Michigan 1907 Cram scarce huge mapBrian DiMambro- Antiquarian
Issued Chicago, 1907 by George F. Cram.
Remarkably detailed and very large early 20th century antique color lithographed map. Not to be confused with the far more common small format Cram maps of this era.
Key at top left identifies dozens of individual railroad lines and companies throughout the region.
Inset maps of Indianapolis and Lake Michigan (including Gary) at bottom right.
Minor light toning and small scattered age spotting as typical for maps of this vintage, perhaps some minor paper flaws, but to our eyes and for most people, an entirely acceptable and very nice looking example of this antique map.
Original fold line as issued.
Sheet measures c. 27" x 18 1/2".
Printed area measures c. 23 3/4" x 17 1/2".
