Issued by the U.S. Government, an official cartographic accounting of the state in the mid-19th century.
Reference key top right refers to townships already surveyed, those requiring further surveys, those in the process, etc.
In near VG or better condition, minor light surface age wear and toning as typical, overall the image is clean, well preserved and very attractive.
Original fold lines as issued, left edge trimmed very close shaving slightly into neatline bottom left, but otherwise overall clean well preserved example.
