Scarce 18th century American imprint.
Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting red leather label. Front and rear joints cracked, covers held only by binding cords. Text block remains clean, tight, and sound. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, with some light age spotting and normal toning throughout.
Book displays a unique age patina- spine ends chipped, joints broken, corners worn, etc. The age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
