Work is divided into three separate "books", each apparently a complete work unto itself, but all three related.
Period mottled leather binding, raised bands, compartments and board edges gilt decorated, all edges marbled.
Bindings remain tight, and sound. Shows signs of age and handling but displays a noble appearance. Overall clean, any small age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Remarkable for handwritten text - likely copied by a student or an individual who required their own copy of the book but could not find or afford one.
Represents an immense investment of time, excellent one of a kind survival.
Book measures: 9 1/2" H X 7 3/8" W.
