pp.153. With the large folding map of western United States loosely laid in at rear.
Publishers pebble cloth, stamped floral in blind, spine gilt lettered. Binding shows some evidence of old staining, tips and spine ends a little worn, still a structurally sound and tight book. Lacks front free end paper.
Large Mullan map is complete with small minor loss at left edge due to having been issued glued onto the rear pastedown, where the missing map sheet paper is still found affixed.
Map is mostly sound, various splits along some fold-lines or at intersections, couple short closed tears near original inset panel.
Book measures: 7 5/8" H X 5 1/4" W.
