Paris- France- early modern urban street views.
Issued Paris, c.1850's. Printed by Lemercier.
Unique and beautiful lot of ten (10) antique mid-19th centrury lithographed prints. Each with detailed and very pleasing original hand color, enhanced by careful gum arabic application which imparts a visual sheen unique to this era.
All are visually attractive, scattered age spotting (small foxing), overall all remain mostly clean and nice condition: any age flaws or condition issues are very minor and easy to forgive or overlook.
Each print displays a unique patina of time nearly impossible to recreate in a modern printed example.
