Pologne.

(Europe / Poland/ Prussia).

Issued Paris, c.1836 by Perrot. Engraved by Pierre Tardieu.

Uncommon and charming small miniature format 19th century map. Almost primitive looking, engraved with original crude outline hand color utterly unique to the era and method of hand production at this time (likely children).

From a pocket sized atlas which had a small circulation and is therefore rarely encountered as a loose map today.

Sheet displays inoffensive signs of age, light evidence of some handling, printed slightly askew on the sheet and issued thus, but overall still clean and well preserved.

A scarce little antique map with fine patina and historical cartographic appeal.

Sheet measures c. 7" W x 10 1/2" H.

Printed area measures c. 6 1/4" W x 7 3/4" H.
