Scarce original antique engraved view print. A detailed depiction from a rare Dutch edition of Cook's third and final voyage to this remote and previously little known Pacific island location.

Fine large scarce variant view of an aboriginal dance on this island. Very well engraved, with great visual appeal.

In Fair+ to Good+ or better condition:.

Condition: Blank margins toned & foxed, bottom center vertical fold-line paper repaired long ago in typical slightly inexpert old style; normal minor light age toning to sheet as typical to paper of this era, some scattered minor foxing primarily in the blank margin, and some light age wear along the fold lines. However these faults do not detract from the overall appearance of the image- please inspect visual scan closely.
