Interesting lot of four mid-19th century maps, one of which depicts all of Texas naming Indian tribes, "staked plains" and many Army forts.
The Map of Oregon, etc. names Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana and Washington as being still Territories. Dakotas are still joined, Indian Territory, many forts and tribal names across the area, the northern railroad route is still uncompleted to the Pacific.
North America map displays a giant and curiously shaped British Columbia with a "Gold Region". Russian America (Alaska) is named as a Territory of the U.S.
