Detailed U.S. Government issued lithographed map relating to the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848. Shows terrain, roads, building locations and troop positions. Oriented with south at top. The Americans with 924 troops sustained a single casualty while the Mexicans with a force of 4223 lost 300 men.
Light wrinkling, original fold lines, remaining clean overall and a well preserved example.
