Charming little pair of early 19th century miniature aquatint prints with original hand color.
Wonderful images capturing trades which no longer exist. A woman nicely dressed sells bread & wine from baskets, note her shoes. A well dressed young man carries two pails of frsh water in buckle shoes.
Depicts these particular types of street merchants who would have been found selling their wares on the streets of major cities in Europe, such as Paris.
Minor light toning, but overall clean, lovely example.
Sheet measures c. 5 1/2" H x 3 1/8".
