24 bi-weekly issues, 400 pages. Text in French. Illustrated throughout with 12 offset color plates of primarily flowers and plant related details and many b&w photos. It seems during this WWI year the color plates were only included every other issue, the alternating issues with full page b&w photos.

Publisher's lettered and pictorial paper covered boards with all indexes and extensive scientific text.

Scholarly journal filled with nicely printed color plates. 

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn, minor paper spine cracks along joints but covers tight, firm and still holding well, mostly light or inoffensive signs of handling and time but nothing severe or unsightly, book remains overall attractive as an object.

Paper is gently toned, still clean, tight, sound internally. The color plates are all clean and nice.

Still attractive on the shelf. The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.
