619 pages. Text in French. 24 issues, all profusely illustrated throughout with photographs and 24 offset color lithographed plates, all floral or fruits. Beautiful plates, complete as issued.

Attractive antiquarian French paper covered boards.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. 

Binding gently rubbed and age worn but still appealing, leather and joints slightly rubbed with some slight discoloration, but still supple, remains overall attractive as an object. All the plates are clean and still protected by the original tissue guards.

Text block paper is gently age toned as typical, internally book remains mostly clean, tight and sound. A book which has been taken care of but may/ does not look like new.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
