Period 1/2 leather binding, raised and embossed bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting red leather label, marbled covers and end papers.

Leather slightly scuffed and splitting at corners or along joints, covers firmly attached, binding tight and sound. Internally clean and tight.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
