Attractive antiquarian 1/4 folio leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands & title lettering.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. 

Binding age worn but still appealing, book opens to one of the preliminary leaves of text, several pages with long tears or edge chips, some old repairs, clearly well handled and read, leather and joints slightly rubbed but still supple, remains overall very attractive as an object.

Text block paper is uniformly moderately to heavily age toned as typical, internally book remains tight and sound. A book which has been taken care of but may/ does not look like new.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
